If someone falls off the track, Kirby immediately starts hovering in the air with an ample hovering gauge above his head. Honestly, his slow movements feel right to me when I think about how squishy-soft his body is. Kirby is a bit sluggish and doesn't move as fast as some people might like, but this makes him easier to control. However, it also provides an element of surprise since I don't know what's coming. This feels a little strange I would prefer to choose what tracks I race on like I can in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
